Orcs

Orcs are squat bipedal humanoids with canine teeth, broad noses, hairy bodies, and generally negative dispositions. Their skin is usually grey, green, or (occasionally) red. Their culture is based around individual clans; these clans often war or compete against one another. Their breeding rates are high. Their un-natural ability to track and run down prey makes them dangerous. Periodically, large waves of Orcs spread out from their mountain homelands in attempts to encroach into the lands of others. In the aftermath of such conquest, the Orcs often form short-lived empires which usually crumble due to bickering within a few Orc generations. Still, the devastation to the conquered is often high. Therefore, most races share a mutual hatred towards them. Orcs do have their own culture, their own honor and rituals, and they are not mindlessly evil. However, their aggressive expansionist nature puts them at odds with most other races.
