Synopsis:
In this adventure, the players role-played their characters' origin stories. Top-hat-wielding gentlemen and energy-blaster-wielding thugs got into a fight in the Mall of Canada (though none of the general populace recall the Top-hat-wielding gentlemen).

Details:
Chris plays Stan Rainey, one of the world's most famous super model / actors on the planet. He left his wallet at the Mall of Canada and returned to get it. While waiting in an office, he fell asleep and had an "otherworldly experience." In a pastoral setting, food was brought to him by nymphs. A council of unknown beings asked him several ethics questions. These beings included a dragon lady, a female faun, a dryad, a centaur, a glowing blue pyramid, a dual-manikin creature (2 torsos attached), a gazelle, a dolphin-headed lady, a bloody ape with a machete and a machine gun, a small green Asian boy, an elephant-headed Humanoid in cowboy digs, a bald man wearing a white tank top with jeans and work boots and a mop, and an elderly black woman wearing a kimono. After the ethics questions were answered, Stan was returned to the real world.

Phil plays Nathan "Wolfman" Curuthers, an ex-radio DJ who has become known in the local music underground as a techno/metal DJ for parties and nightclubs. Wolfie went to the Mall with his sister. He went to go to the restroom and to catch a smoke, and somebody smacked him on the back of his head. He awoke to discover himself the victim of several mysterious individuals who could only be heard not seen ... except for their inhuman servitors with nasty pseudo-pods. After deciding which super-power experiment to inflict on the Wolfman, his captors subjected him to torture, surgery, and "tradition" (the anal probe). Wolfman woke up in the Mall after several days had passed ... he awoke on the same day that Stan Rainey had come to the mall (above).

Finally, Glenda plays Onyx P. Reison, who most people know as Madame Jetta. She is a charlatan who takes advantage of others as a professional Psychic. On the same fateful day as the other players, she went to the Mall of Canada. Her origin involved exposure to an exploding canister. Top-hat wielding gentlemen and energy-rifle wielding thugs opened fire on one another in a shocking battle. Madame Jetta (in addition to many others in the crowd) was exposed to some kind of exploding canister. An unknown female dressed in some sort of blue costume ran in at an incredible velocity, and absconded with the second canister. Nobody knows if this mysterious masked woman was a hero or a villain. Most of the PCs just looked for cover. Stan had some troubles because he kept throwing up water, and Wolfman was experiencing visual problems. Both of them were having problems as a result of their powers. Strangely, after the fight, nobody seemed to remember the Top-hat-wielding gentlemen, except for the PCs.

Later, each person responded to a series of commercials essentially offering help and advice to those who were experiencing weird things in their lives. Madame Jetta found that she could fly, occasionally shoot a yellow pudding, and that her strength made her a danger to her own apartment. Stan Rainey had some mystical insights about his life and discovered that he could cause the rain and that he could "shoot" himself as a burst of water from one location to another. The Wolfman discovered he could see through walls, see in the dark, and shoot lasers from his eyes, but not reliably. All of these individuals eventually sought Wes Craven (NOT the Director), who had run one of the adverts. He interviewed them and offered them a chance to join a super-hero team, with pay ($50,000 per year). At one point, Wolfie thought Stan was following him and tried to shoot him in his rear-view mirror but his eye blasts blew out the front windshield of his van. They didn't learn of each others' powers or identities however. Madame Jetta did not yet interview at this time.
