Synopsis:
The heroes encounter three of the villainous cabal known as the The Five, consisting of the Mad Hatter, Hurdy Gurdy, and The Grey Jester (a.k.a. Killer Clown). Two of them are defeated or captured.

Details:
The characters encounter a toad-like NPC, as well as 3 individuals from a villainous group known as The Five. The villains in question were The Mad Hatter, a foppish dandy; Grey Jester, an evil clown, Hurdy Gurdy, the magic hurdy-gurdy man. Hurdy Gurdy used his magical hurdy-gurdy to transform kids on a field trip at a museum into evil little monkeys with vests, bells and cymbals. The Iron Chef, being an android, quickly became neutralized by the anti-technology field generated by the evil cartoon clown (Grey Jester a.k.a Killer Clown). Killer Clown, who only speaks a single word, "Lutkus," was beat down eventually by Husk and Beholder, but they were almost turned into monkeys with vests and cymbals, by the evil transformational powers of Hurdy Gurdy. Only Robin managed to save the day, when she destroyed the Hurdy Gurdy's hurdy-gurdy. Its destruction ripped a hole into another dimension, taking the Hurdy Gurdy man and several monkeys (innocent children) in with him! At least one monkey (child) remained transformed and ran off. Also, at one point, The Toad (a crazy semi-evil, semi-crazy book enthusiast with leaping powers and a penchant for protecting books) thought the PCs were the attackers and he lept on their heads.

Meanwhile on the roof of the museum, Lamont, who had finally taken the name of Stand-In for his heroic name, confronted the Mad Hatter. The Mad Hatter was expecting Lamont, and because of shared visions where Stand-In and The Mad Hatter see each other's movements, neither were really surprised by one another. The Mad Hatter crashed through the glass dome and ran around inside the museum. In the chase, he created illusions to instill terror in the hearts of school children and museum staff alike! The Toad confronted the Mad Hatter but was distracted by an illusion of burning books. Stand-In caught up to the Mad Hatter outside a window on the front lawn and tried to grab the Mad Hatter to drain him. The contact between these two opposing Top-hat-wielding idiots left both severely injured, but The Mad Hatter escaped with a quick step of his extending sock shoes. However, one of his socks was grabbed by Husk as the Mad Hatter leaped away. The Husk proudly added this to his collection of objects that belong to defeated foes. (Husk took one of Killer Clown's juggling bombs as a keepsake also).

In this game, Husk also tried to learn about the kinds of insects that comprise his new body. In the process he met the demented book-loving man known also as The Toad, who attacks by leaping onto people's heads. He will attack anyone trying to destroy knowledge. However, Husk met him in a book store in a separate encounter, and there was no fight.

During this adventure, Stand-In switched his personal style from a top-hat-and-cane-wearing comic book (which is coincidentally similar to his powers) to that of a well-dressed businessman, due to a plan to become more serious and possibly sever ties with all of his friends, because of the shared visions he and the Mad Hatter have with one another.

I do not recall if it was in this game (Seven) or in an earlier game (Three) that Robin was attacked by thugs in the Mall of Canada. In whichever game it happened, she beat them up, took one of their motor-scooters, and kept it in her van. It was also around this time that Robin Foo began using her first name as her super hero name, slightly modified. When "armored up" or "powered up" she goes by the name Robin Wood, or just Robin.
