ISSUE #20 "GDP: Life Of The Party" Game Master: Phil Players: Chris, Lewis, Rob-B PCs: Mr. Clean, Stand-In, [unnamed] Experience Points Awarded: 3, 3, 3 (respectively) Synopsis: In this session, the heroes were watching live news footage of Guy Dandy Pierce's grand opening of his new complex, when something attaked him. Investigation led to recon on his facility in order to help a super-powered girl (Jade Nova, from issue #8) who claimed her boyfriend (also from issue #8) was being held hostage. Details: The heroes were all individually watching TV in their separate "mundane" identities when a news event came on the air involving Guy Dandy Pierce. He was throwing a big media bash / party at his new main headquarters. While being interviewed, a green energy bolt from off-camera hit him and knocked GDP to his feet. He got up and brushed himself off and played it off as nothing special. The heroes rushed over to the new GDP facility to see what was going on. They heard some energy blast fire and sounds of destruction from a few blocks away from thr facility. One of the adolescent miscreants from issue #8 (Jade Nova) had apparently attacked GDP from range and when it didnt help she had started destroying public property nearby and making noise in the hopes of attracting super-powered attention. After talking to her, it turns out that her boyfriend (another super-powered miscreant from issue #8) had hired on with GDP and was kidnapped. She wanted help rescuing him. Most of the group felt hesitant breaking in, but some of them did sneak in (Marion Dexter or Mr Clean or both I dont recall who). An Org chart was pulled but I forget what information was gleaned from it. In the end, some exploring was done but nothing concrete happened until the next issue.
