ISSUE #10 "The Crimson Tide" Game Master: Phil Players: Chris, Glenda, Jeff, Lewis PCs: Mr. Clean, Golden Girl, [Unnamed], Stand-In (respectively) Experience Points: 2 Synopsis: In this issue, the Heroes matched their powers against The Crimson Tide. Notes on the NPCs: Details: A new villain came into town. Dubbed "The Biker Butcher" by Jeff's reporter character (whose name I don't know but I need to get), this guy was a large redneck super-villain known by many as The Crimson Tide. He came from Alabama and drove a Harley Davidson cycle, and he had a magical shotgun with a variety of effects. The gun required precious metals and gems for its effects. Therefore the Crimson Tide was always staging violent robberies. The Crimson Tide liked to be seen in the act. The heroes confronted him after he killed at least 7 people, two of whom were police officers. At the beginning of the fight, they weren't sure he was the right guy because they approached him from behind. Stand-In told him to halt and surrender. That is when The Crimson Tide turned around (verifying his identity) and shot Stand-In in the chest with a shotgun. While he took no lethal damage, the shot did knock Stand-In out cold in one hit. Glass Jaw. Too bad. Golden Girl fled the scene because one of the Crimson Tide's shotgun blasts drained her of her flight power, which mad her panic. The Crimson Tide almost decimated Mr. Clean and Stand-In (who was unconscious), but Mr. Clean shoved his liquefied hand down the villain's throat, which caused the Crimson Tide to expire. This did not aid the group's reputation, but the murderer was stopped. Jeff's photographer character got pictures instead of helping, even though by this point he had learned he could touch metal or other objects to become strong and tough. |
