ISSUE #X "Title Goes Here" Game Master: X Players: Beholder, Golden Girl, Mr. Clean PCs: D, E, F (respectively) Experience Points Awarded: 2, 2, 2 (respectively) Synopsis: #31: The players make an assault on the Mall of Canada to rescue Chris' last water supply (and Beholder's control mechanism) from the Master Wizard there. Other undocumented games in the campaign: #32: After recovering in the hospital, Beholder is approached by the Mad Hatter to join the five. I dont remember what Golden Girl did here. Stand-In had more accountant money, training, and moral questioning conversations. #33: Beholder and GG rescue Andrea, who has been captured by a gang hopped up on inhalants that grant them super powers. In the investigation, Beholder got cocky and pissed off a room full of troll gang members. He killed several of them, but they got their asses handed to them. THe trolls couldnt kill them so wrapped them up in dumpsters. Meanwhile, Andrea became a troll, got the regeneration attribute temporarity, and had her fingers cut off many times. She eventually returned to normal but without her fingers. Beholder and GG went off to get more of the troll drug and gave it to Andrea so she would regen one last time. The PCs didn't investigate any of the people behind the scenes, but Beholder got a warning and/or love note about crossing the line between love and war, and it had an unknown symbol on it (other characters will recognize it as a Manticore symbol). #34: Final encounter with Spindle, Anthrax, and the mutated children, deep in the bowels of hell (in a warehouse; a nearby broom closet was the gate to "Hell"). At the end of this one, Stand-In broke the Chaos Gun, which led to events that happened in #35 - #37. #35: Beholder beat up some Shaolin Punks that were dating his sister, outside his apartment. Immediately after, Phil was ripped to Stand-In's lair because the Beholder's control mirror is there. In a previous adventure (I think the end of #34) Stand-In broke the Chaos Gun he got from the Time Hopping Toad issue. This ripped phil into Stand-In's lair. Stand-In was floating in a green bubble. They reached for each other, but heard laugher, and stopped trying to reach for each other. The Stand-In seems to explode, and Beholder loses his magical (hollow) eyes and eye powers (be is blind). A future stand-in asks Beholder what the date is and is surprised Beholder is alive. Salsa (Future) Stand-In plays chess with the DeepSpawn guardian and makes him give the Beholder artificial eyes, Ice Powers, and Super Jumping. He also gave him a suit, a machine gun, a motorcycle, and a sphere to drive/run/fly back to Klamath, because Stand-In's dimension was closed. #36: Beholder still has his weird powers (Ice, Jumping, Motorcycle, d20 eyes). The 3 players fight the Antonys in the Library and save the Future Stand-In's future wife, who was a little kid in the Library. They were given the mission by Future Stand-In (Salsa). They saved the girl (Helen). They discovered a boat off shore where the Anthony's masters were controlling everything. Beholder super jumped there and fought one scientist that was still on deck. He captured the scientist. He (scientist) is poisoned with his wristwatch as a defense mechanism but Beholder freezes his arm with his new Ice Powers and the guy goes to the hospital. The boat submurges, it was a sub. Beholder makes an ice Island to survive. Golden Girl flies underwater and almost penetrates the sub but it gets away (she cant breathe underwater). They never went back to the hospital to question the scientist they captured. #37: Beholder discovers that the Mad Hatter has recruited or kidnapped or coerced Andrea into going with him, possibly to be the Thumb for the Hand. Iron Maiden and Golden Girl console him. Meanwhile, Stand-In has a weird Future Journey (linked to issue #35) wherein he meets Future-Helen (his Wife) and Future Toad. In the alternate Future, Mad Hatter rules the city and plays chess with buildings. Toad, Helen, and Stand-In break into the CSA (chaos states of america; future deviation of USA) and fight Slayden, who has somehow obtained the Chaos Orb and is slaying all incarnations of the Stand-In. Slayden and Helen both essentially imply this future comes to pass because Stand-In trusts nobody. Stand-In almost takes the orb but Slayden "slays" him, ending the Time Travel Freak out. (The time freak out happened when Stand-In tried to break the Chaos gun at the end of #34). Once the time freak out ended, Beholder had his normal powers back. #38: The Wraith convinced the Pumpkin Cult (from some other adventure I may not have fully logged) to do good in the community. Also, his GF is a candy striper at a hospital. Wraith has determined to use the library periodicals to research things. He discoveres a mysterious string of unresolved malpractice suits at a particular hospital (the one his GF works at). He discovered at that hospital that a certain part of it seems to make him sleepy and he wakes up elsewhere. He got GG and IMaiden to help him invesitage. They suspect a doctor named Mr. Green. They found fleshy book pages that may be part of the necronomicon. They also dicsovered a missing orderly that used to work there but nobody knows where he is, or even remembers him. They couldn't deduce what to do next, so they decided to wait until they could find the Stand-In. Notes on the NPCs: NPC Notes go here.
